World Heritage Review 94: New Sites

Twenty-nine sites were added to the World Heritage List at the 43rd session of the World Heritage Committee held in Baku, Azerbaijan from 30 June to 10 July 2019.

This issue will present each new site, with photographs and a description of its Outstanding Universal Value (OUV) – the exceptional characteristics for which it was selected for inclusion on the World Heritage List, and the reason it must be protected and preserved for current and future generations.
